Good News! The schedule for the Fall 2021 NYSETA conference is live! It has taken quite a while to get all the pieces in place, but it is here! Check the schedule (which is subject to change with slight modifications) which has taken quite a while to finalize, given that, as soon as June of this year, the conference was going to be in person, but had to be changed due to COVID-19. A lot of work has gone into this session, and it will be a positive conference.!

Registration is open, and the cut-off date is Thursday, October 21, 2021. This will allow time to process all the registrations and get needed information out via email to all.

Thank you for the understanding of trying to re-do the conference (yet again!) and get all the parts working together!

Let's end October together!

Greetings and welcome to the Fall 2021 NYSETA conference website, hosted virtually by Queensborough Community College! The New York State Engineering Technology and Cybersecurity Association is a professional organization for college faculty who gather to share information about many of the items in industry and college curricula We hope that you will find the presentations informative and give you some background or other pertinent information for professional development.

NYSETA is by and for faculty and industry professionals. While we are in the age of COVID, we can still gather virtually to share information. We hope, in the near future , we can gather in person to renew our relationships and share information.

Fall 2021 Conference

The Fall conference is Friday, October 29th, 2021 from 1 PM to approximately 4:30 PM. It will have presentations in the areas of:

  • Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture.

  • Mechanical Engineering /Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Cybersecurity

In addition, we will have a plenary session with a presentation what will be of interest to all individuals.

When the software and other web-based information is done, the Registration & Payment tab will have information for registering for the conference and payment. Like last year, the registration fee is only $20 and includes a one-year dues payment for ETA! Information will be posted here in the News Section when it becomes available.

If you are interested in presenting a session in one of the interest group areas, see the Call for Presentation page for more info. This is a good opportunity to show commitment to professional development, useful for promotions, tenure, and accreditation.

There will also be a virtual Business meeting, where we will be electing the 4 officers to carry ETA forward for the next 2 years!

Keep checking this area for information as it changes! We hope to have you here for the conference!
